Information we collect

Account information, such as your email address, display name, password hash, preferred units, default pace, and subscription status.

Email-list information, such as the email address and signup source you provide when joining route or product updates.

Walking activity, such as selected routes, progress, elapsed time, distance, completion percentage, app points, favorites, saved views, challenge progress, and route feedback.

Support information you choose to send us, including email content and any account or route details included in your message.

Technical information needed to run and secure the service, such as session cookies, basic request logs, device/browser details, and error diagnostics.

How we use information

To create and secure your account, keep you signed in, show your dashboard, resume walks, calculate points, and remember route preferences.

To send welcome emails, route drops, and product updates when you create an account or join the email list.

To provide support, respond to messages, investigate bugs, prevent abuse, improve route quality, and maintain app reliability.

To manage billing and subscriptions through Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on Treadmill App servers.

Maps, Street View, and third-party services

Treadmill App uses Google Maps and Street View features to power virtual route previews and walks. Google may process map requests according to its own terms and privacy policies.

We use service providers such as hosting, database, analytics, email, payment, and security tools only as needed to operate the app.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information.

We may share information with service providers that help operate Treadmill App, with payment processors for billing, when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the service.

Public share pages are designed to use route metadata and abstract visuals, not stored Street View screenshots.

Your choices

You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or export of your account information.

You can contact us to unsubscribe from email-list updates.

You can stop using Treadmill App at any time. You may also cancel paid subscriptions through the billing flow when billing is enabled.

Browser settings can block or delete cookies, but session cookies are required for account sign-in.

Retention and security

We keep account and walking data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee perfect security.

Children

Treadmill App is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
